This conference aims to foster collaborations between different departments and research centres affiliated with the Chemical Biological Centre, KBC, including departments from two faculties of Umeå University and the Faculty of Forest Sciences, SLU.

The scientific theme this year will be "Bridging Scales: from Quantum to Cosmos", providing a framework for discussions on different scales of scientific research and interpreting and using research results across scales and dimensions. We also wanted to highlight that this year is the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology (IYQ 2025).

We encourage PhD students to present their projects in the form of short, 2-minute “elevator talks” and posters.

Find more information, the preliminary programme, and register (by 28 October at the latest) at /en/chemical-biological-centre/kbc_events/kbc-days-2025/

Note! Information about and pre-registration for the various activities organised in the framework of this year's KBC DAYS will be available on the KBC DAYS 2025 webpage soon. Stay tuned for the email and digital screen announcements!

The registration is now open for the KBC Ping Pong Tournament. Register (by 6 October) for this friendly competition that will be running throughout October, meet colleagues, have fun, and maybe even win a trophy! The winner will be awarded during the KBC DAYS on 11 November 2025.

Find more information and register for the tournamnet: /en/chemical-biological-centre/kbc_events/kbc-ping-pong-tournament-2025/

Contact: info.kbc@ͯÑÕÊÓƵ
Carl Kempe salen, Lilla hörsalen, Glasburen, StoraFokusrummet, KBCConference/en/events/kbc-days-2025_12100959/2025-11-11T09:00:00+01:002025-11-12T17:00:00+01:00
