As a student at Umeå University, you are part of the EU alliance AcrossEU. The alliance is a network consisting of 9 broad universities from 8 European countries representing 180,000 students, 20,000 researchers and academic staff as well as local and regional stakeholders with a combined population of over 1 million inhabitants. The universities cooperate to become a so-called European university. Now they need help from you as a student in getting answers to certain questions.

The main objective of the AcrossEU alliance is to:

• Create new ways to connect the wider community represented by its members and their regions
• Promote the European and universal values ​​of peace, human rights, inclusion and diversity
• Structuring new and inclusive European universities
• Facilitate lifelong learning, create new knowledge and develop active collaboration between scientific research and civil society
• Support regional growth through joint research and innovation projects, interdisciplinary education and
• promote student entrepreneurship and facilitate student mobility within the network!
