Ghazaleh holds a PhD degree in biomechanical engineering. In her postdoc project, she developed a new algorithm to improve the speech signal quality for people with hearing loss. In this project, a calibrated mobile application was produced that could enable individuals to self-screen their hearing without the need to visit a clinic. She conducted a clinical study at Norrlands University Hospital and is working to publish the results in scientific journals. This postdoc project is funded by the Kempe foundation.
