This seminar is organised in the frame of the “SciLifeLab Site Umeå / KBC Infrastructure Seminar Series” and will be held in a hybrid format - IRL in Glasburen, KBC, Umeå, and online via Zoom. Learn more about the seminar series here.
On 9 September 2025, at 12:00, SciLifeLab Site Umeå / KBC Infrastructure Seminar Series presents:
Is high-throughput electrophysiology possible?
Speakers:
Fredrik Elinder, Professor, Site director SciLIfeLab Linköping, Chemical Biology Consortium Sweden (CBCS), and Department of Biomedical and Clinical Sciences (BKV), Linköping University
Nina Ottosson, Research Coordinator, Chemical Biology Consortium Sweden (CBCS), and Department of Biomedical and Clinical Sciences (BKV), Linköping University
A brief description: Linköping University hosts an electrophysiology platform equipped with automated patch-clamp instrumentation. This facility is part of the Chemical Biology Consortium Sweden (CBCS) at SciLifeLab. We support a wide range of electrophysiological studies involving both voltage-gated and ligand-gated ion channels, including pharmacological screening, cardiac safety assessments, and biophysical investigations. In November 2025, we will offer a PhD course, which is now open for registration:
