Using university-owned computers means that all students will have the same technical conditions when taking digital on-site examinations. The use of standardised equipment also reduces the risk of technical issues that can arise when students use different types of personal computers.

What this change means for you:

• You will complete your digital on-site examination on a computer provided in the examination room. There is no need to book a computer in advance.
• You will no longer need to bring or prepare your own computer for examinations.
• You are responsible for ensuring that you have access to your login credentials when taking an examination.
• If you have a disability that requires the use of assistive technology that cannot be provided by Examination Services, you may be granted permission to use your own computer. Read more about the conditions that apply on the page
