Keep access to Ladok after your studies

NEWS If you do not have a Swedish personal identity number and want to continue using Ladok for students after you have completed your studies, you can now retain access to your study records even after your student account has been deactivated.

In Ladok, you can for example:

  • apply for or collect your degree certificate
  • download study certificates
  • register for an examination you have not completed
  • apply for credit transfer for your studies at Umeå University

Your student account usually remains active for two years after you have completed your studies. From 17 June, you can add an alternative login method in Ladok for students. This will allow you to access your study records in Ladok in the future, even after your student account has been deactivated. You need to add the alternative login method while your student account is still active

You can choose between two login methods:

  • European e-identification (eIDAS)
If you have an eID issued in another EU country, you can use it to log in to Ladok.
  • Freja for international users (Freja eID) If you have an international passport with NFC, you can create a Swedish eID via Freja and use it to log in.
