I am a PhD candidate at the Department of Epidemiology and Global Health. My PhD project focuses on organizational factors that promote health within the public sector. The aim of the project is to increase knowledge about which organizational factors contribute to good health and a positive work environment. Using data from employee surveys that are collected regularly, we study the relationships between different areas in organizations, such as leadership, participation, communication, and the balance between demands and resources, and how these relate to healthy workplaces.
I am a licensed psychologist and a specialist in psychological treatment. I have previously worked as a psychologist in primary care and occupational health services. I also have a combined clinical position at the Stress Rehabilitation Clinic within Region Västerbotten. Through my work as a psychologist, I have learned how important organizational factors are for achieving a good work environment and good employee health. By identifying and understanding health-promoting factors, it is possible to work preventively and reduce the risk of problems arising.
