I am a computational biologist whose research focuses on the interplay between tissue topology and mechanical stresses during plant morphogenesis. During my PhD, I developed numerical representations of plant tissue topology for mechanical simulations, with applications to cell division plane positioning and to seed coat development.

As an IceLab-Kempestiftelserna multidisciplinary postdoctoral fellow, I now investigate the modeling of epidermal tissues to elucidate the roles of tissue topology and cell geometry in maintaining tissue integrity and resilience to deformation.

My work lies at the intersection of plant developmental biology, image analysis, computational geometry, and mechanical modeling.
