Fatemeh holds a PhD degree in mathematics with a major in dynamical system. In her postdoc project, she models the auditory nerve activities to understand the effects of specific pathologies on the perception of sound by the human brain. One of the main goals of the project is to understand the ‘hidden hearing loss’, i.e., a problem that affects a large portion of society but cannot be detected by standard clinical tests. This postdoc project is funded by the Kempe Foundation.
