My postdoc focuses on three-dimensional imaging of aquatic microorganisms using cryogenic electron microscopy.
I started my postdoc August 2024 in Linda Sandblad lab at Umeå University. The goal of my project is to visualize aquatic microbes using electron microscopy and electron tomography.
My background is in microbial ecology and during my PhD I studied microbial life in subsurface groundwaters using both culture-dependent and culture-independent methods.
