I am a sociologist and my research focuses on a broad range of topics including prejudice, trust in political institutions, and more recently the effects of social policies and policing on marginalized groups in society. I am particularly interested in how social change occurs over time, both within individuals and across societies, using longitudinal quantitative methods.
During the fall semester of 2026, I will be a visting the University of California at Berkelery as a STINT Teaching Sabbatical Fellow.
I teach courses in criminology, comparative social policy, quantitative methods, and Open Science for the Social Sciences (PhD level).
