I work as a postdoctoral researcher in the Jonas Nilsson group, which focuses on the development of precision medicine and individualized cancer vaccines using lipid nanoparticles.
I work as a postdoctoral researcher specializing in how cancer evades detection by the immune system. My background is in pancreatic cancer, where I investigated how overexpressed proteins can inhibit the immune response in cancer patients.
My primary focus is conducting experimental research using ex vivo systems with immune and cancer cells to evaluate ways to mobilize the immune system to attack cancer. In our group, we aim to develop and test lipid nanoparticle vaccines using white blood cells isolated from donated blood.
