New course to support doctoral students’ career development

ͯÑÕÊÓÆµ is offering a new course for doctoral students who want to prepare for their next career step, both within and beyond academia. The course, Professional Career Preparation, is delivered in collaboration with EURAXESS Sweden and Alma.Me.
The course runs over six weeks and is delivered fully online in a self‑paced format. Participants work through the content independently while starting and finishing the course together.
Focus on career direction and transferable skills
The course consists of five modules covering key stages of career development:
Discover.Me – identify skills, values and career direction
Connect.Me – build a LinkedIn profile and professional network
Apply.Me – convert an academic CV into an industry CV
Interview.Me – prepare for recruitment processes
Launch.Me – evaluate offers and take the next career step.
The aim is to support doctoral students in navigating career decisions with greater clarity and confidence.
Practical information
The course runs 19 October–29 November 2026 and is conducted entirely online.
Places are limited and allocated on a first‑come, first‑served basis.
