I have a PhD in food, nutrition and culinary science and I am a registered dietitian. My doctoral work focused on school meals for students diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder or ADHD, drawing on disability theory and special education perspectives. The dissertation also examined the conditions for an inclusive school meal.
I have ten years of experience working as a dietitian in primary care, hospital care, home healthcare, and habilitation services. I have worked with both children and adults at risk of malnutrition and growth-related issues, as well as with public health-related conditions such as obesity and type 2 diabetes.
In my research, I am interested in public meals, public health work, and clinical nutrition, with a particular focus on how individuals’ health is shaped through the interaction of medical, social, and structural factors.
